Rexall Drug Stores sold alarm clocks in the 1950s, through the 70s, with the name "REX".  They had the clocks made by Westclox or the William Gilbert clock company.  This one is a 1956 model by Gilbert, and it comes with the original box and instruction sheet.

The condition is NEAR MINT throughout.  It looks like it was never used.

The case is 4 1/8" tall.
